State Representative Hits Rate Cap Road Block
State representative Timothy Hill wants to pass a law that caps outside water and wastewater rates in Johnson City. Water customers in Piney Flats and surrounding areas pay almost double of those living inside the city. Hill is receiving opposition from the Tennessee Advisory Commission as well as Johnson City’s manager, Pete Peterson. (JH)
