Gun Shop Robbery Suspects Arrested
FROM SHERIFF CHRIS MATHES: For over a week now The Carter County Sheriff's Office has been investigating the burglary of a gun shop located on Bluesprings Road in the Stoney Creek Community where more than 47 guns and ammunition were taken. According to CCSO Sheriff Chris Mathes, the sheriffs office recovered 46 guns and arrested 2 individuals after an undercover operation late Friday night. TBI and ATF assisted in the investigation. No other information is currently being released at this time and a press conference about the case has been scheduled for Monday, December 16th at 10 am at the Carter County Court House.
