Wise County Lawyer Facing Disbarment Proceedings
The State Bar of Virginia is taking steps to have a Wise County attorney disbarred after he was convicted of drug charges. 42-year-old Stuart Collins plead guilty to federal charges to obtaining prescription drugs from two doctors and lying to one of them about seeing the other. Collins was sentenced to one year and ten months in prison, and was notified to appear on January 24th in Richmond to answer to the intent to suspend his law licenses. Collins charges came after a five year FBI investigation.(CC)
