Kingsport Police Report Shooting Outside Perkins Restaurant
A fight led to a gunshot in the parking lot of a Perkins Restaurant in Kingsport. One man was slightly injured and another is being sought. It happened at the Perkins on Fort Henry Drive in Colonial Heights. Police say a fight began and someone fired a gun, then all involved fled. A short time later, police found the wounded man after a traffic stop. He was treated and released at a hospital. Police are seeking the shooter, described as a white male, 5-foot-7 inches tall and 130 pounds, last seen wearing a black leather jacket, black hat, and in a light-colored, four-door sedan. (LM)
