Blountville Electrical Fire
Sullivan County and Avoca Fire departments were called to 3041 Highway 1-26 early this morning after an electrical issue caused a trailer to catch fire. Original reports stated there may have been someone trapped inside, but Sullivan County officers tell me that the homeowner actually had the fire extinguished before fire crews even arrived. There were no injuries and the home is not believed to be a total loss.
