Explosive Devices Found in Church Hill Home
He didn’t show up to court on a DUI charge, so instead the ATF, FBI and a bomb squad came to him. Officers tried to serve a “failure to appear” warrant at the Church Hill home of Brian Keith Looney and found drug paraphernalia and what they believed to be an explosive device. After looking further, they found pipe bombs in different stages of completion. Looney is being held at the Hawkins County Jail as the investigation continues. No other information is being released as the case now involves the U.S. Attorney’s office. Looney has an appearance in Sessions Court scheduled for Monday.
