BVU Board Member Calls Response "Ludicrous"
Bristol Virginia Utilities Board Member Doug Fleenor says he’s exposing longtime, excessive abuse of credit cards by management of BVU. And he says Interim CEO Mike Bundy is misleading the public by mentioning utility workers having need to use credit cards to purchase equipment in the field. “These weren’t linemen out buying widgets," Fleenor said. "These were upper level management and mid level management. The illusion that it was these people who keep our power and lights on and water running are the ones that charged this – that is ludicrous.” Bundy was unavailable to comment. (LM)
