Gun Thief
An Elizabethton man is charged with trying to break-in to a gun store. 30-year-old Thad Buckles was charged with attempted burglary, vandalism and possession of burglary tools. That after a witness reported someone breaking into Tri-Cities Gun Depot on West Elk Avenue. Police found the door to the store broken and Buckles nearby. They say he matched the description the witness gave and they found gloves, a hammer and other suspicious items in a bag he carried.
