Inmate Escape Under Investigation
Multiple agencies began a manhunt for an inmate who walked away from work detail yesterday morning. Authorities say 24-year old Joshua Baber was serving time for burglary, kidnapping and theft at the Northeast Correctional Complex in Mountain City. Investigators are still looking into the incident, but did say they found Baber early this morning in Johnson County and he has been taken back to prison. Baber had seven years left on his sentence, but now faces an extra five years for the escape.
