Upgrades Coming to Elizabethton High School
We’ve been following a story for quite some time in Elizabethton. School officials have been pondering about how to spend $5 million dollars from city bond sales. There were several options, but even more needs. Educational leaders and the community decided to raise another $500,000 and take care of as many of those needs as possible. They plan to expand Elizabethton High School’s athletic facilities as well as build a new football stadium and band room. Ground breaking on the new improvements is expected to begin this spring.
