Another Fatal Domestic Shooting in Area
Another fatal case of domestic violence – this time in the Kingsport area. Authorities say 20-year old Edith Neely was shot at least once and died in front of her two children under the age of two, and her husband, 23-year old Ricky Neely was rushed to the hospital, also shot and critically wounded. It happened at a trailer park at 312 new Summerville Road, Lot 16, in the Rock Springs area. Leslie Earhart from the Sullivan County sheriff’s office said, “It appears they were arguing. They were a married couple. No one heard gunshots. They were found by a relative who came over to check on them.” The young children were not harmed. This just after two died in a domestic shooting in Church Hill and four died in Glade Spring.
