911 Outage Still Unexplained
Although it wasnít out long, the loss of 911 in Scott and Washington County raised concerns. Itís been over a week since the outage and the cause of the problem is still unknown. Scott County 911 Director "Tutti" Jennings says the investigation is still underway and that she has been in contact numerous times with Centurylink as they work on the issue. This is the second outage for the 911 system in Scott County in just the past few months. Since the April 11 outage, two additional phone lines have been installed as back-ups.
