Grocery Chain Kicks off Wine Petition Drive
Today a local grocery chain says they’re kicking off the launch of a petition drive aimed at getting enough signatures to put a referendum on local election ballots. It’s part of the process that will allow Tennessee grocery stores to sell wine. That petition drive begins today in Kingsport at Food City on Eastman Road at 1:00 this afternoon.
