DUI Checkpoint
The Kingsport Police Department will have a D.U.I Sobriety Checkpoint tonight. They’re not saying where it will be, but officers will be out between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. looking for impaired drivers. They remind us that it doesn’t just pertain to alcohol. You can be charged if you’re impaired by drugs as well – including over the counter meds and even medications prescribed by your doctor.
