Man Charged with Robbing Bristol Walgreens pleads “Not Guilty”
The Bristol man who claimed to have a gun and robbed a Walgreens pharmacy pleaded not guilty to a robbery charge during his arrangement in Criminal Court. Police said 56-year old Gary Alvis of Carson Lane specifically demanded oxycodone and Zanax from the drug store back in February. Then, police say, he took and overdosed on those drugs. His next court appearance is June 5. (LM)
