Energy Efficiency Grant Helps Bristol, TN Home Owners
There’s some good news for Bristol, TN home owners. The Economic and Community Development Department says they’ve been awarded a nearly $600,000 grant to assist in making homes in the city more energy efficient. An official announcement will be made this morning as the Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation is in town to present the check. The upgrades could include help energy improvements such as insulation, windows, roofing and even HVAC. To apply, call the office of Economic and Community Development at (423) 989-5514. Your home will undergo an energy audit once you’ve submitted your application.
