Officers Involved in Confrontation with JC Assault Suspect
A Johnson City man was arrested after being checked out at the hospital. William Sullivan was arrested because he got into a fight in the parking lot of a tobacco shop on West Market Street. A witness followed him to a home on First Street where the police were called to arrest him. Sullivan got into a confrontation with the officers, but was eventually placed under arrest. He faces charges of Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest, Vandalism and trespassing.
