Statutory Rape Arrest
Greeneville Police have arrested a 26-year old man for statutory rape. Police say Joel David Cormier pretended to be 18-years old on social media, and he met and had sex with a 15-year old girl. Sullivan County deputies took Cormier into custody and turned him over to the Greeneville Police Department. Greeneville police say investigations are underway in Sullivan County for similar activity. (SH)
