Bristol Police Alert: Thieves Targeting Elderly
Bristol police say a group of men was able to distract a woman at her home and then went inside and stole jewelry from her. It happened in the Exit 7 area. Police say the elderly woman was outside cleaning her car when two men approached, acting as if they knew her. Police say as many as four men were involved and were possibly driving a 90's model Pontiac Grand Am or Grand Prix. Police say residents throughout the area should be on alert.(LM)
