Accused Title Loan Thief Arrested in Johnson City
Authorities say an Elizabethton man obtained two title loans, failed to make payments on them and then deflected attempts to repossess his vehicles. As a result, Johnson City Police are charging 43-year-old George W. Gwinn of Hill Road, with two felony counts of hindering a secured creditor. Authorities say each of the two loans involved more than $1,000. (LM)
