BREAKING: I-81Fatal Crash in Smyth County
At 6:22 p.m., Virginia State Police responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash on the southbound lanes of Interstate 81 near the 34 mile marker in Washington County, Va. A tractor-trailer and a car collided. There are three confirmed fatalities. A fourth person was flown from the scene by Virginia State Police Med-Flight helicopter to a nearby hospital.
