More Charges Against Woman Writing Worthless Checks
A woman accused of passing worthless checks is facing even more charges. Myra Winters passed more than 50 worthless checks totaling more than $7,700. The bank closed her account but that didnít stop her from trying to pass a check for $500 at a business on West Walnut Street. New information from Johnson City police reveals her account had a zero balance the entire time it was open.
