Woman Arrested After Church Hill Fire
A Church Hill fire sent a mother and infant to the hospital and resulted in an arrest. Fire Chief David Wood believes the blaze at Stoney Brooks Apartment started from an electric fire in the kitchen. The woman and child were sleeping when the fire started, but thanks to a neighbor who got in and woke them up, no one was seriously injured. The investigation continues, but we’re told the woman has been arrested. Other media outlets report emergency officials found drugs inside the burning apartment.
