Bluff City Shooting Victim Remains in Serious Condition
A weekend shooting leaves a Bluff City man in serious condition. Sullivan County officers say Stephen Addair was found lying in a wooded area after being shot in the back by his wife, Misty. Addair said he had been in the woods for an hour and a half before his parents found him behind their Pleasant Grove Road home. Officers found 32-year old Misty Addair in Sevierville where she was arrested on Attempted Murder and Aggravated Assault charges. The couple’s two children were with Misty at the time of her arrest and have since been released to a family member. The investigation is ongoing, but Earhart says the suspect admitted to shooting her husband after they got into an argument.
