Church Hill Man Killed in Head On Collision in Kingsport
Two cars collided head-on in Kingsport on East Stone Drive, killing 50 year old Bobby Jarrett of Church Hill. Police say Jarrett’s car was struck by another traveling in the wrong direction, east in the west-bound lane, causing the accident. That driver, identified as 27-year old Samuel Huffine of Kingsport, and his passenger, Summer Huffine, were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Police say alcohol and excessive speed are suspected and charges are pending. (LM)
