Elizabethton Police Veteran Resigns Amid Investigation
The Elizabethton Police Department is short a sergeant in the narcotics vice unit. 16-year veteran Jesus Pena resigned after an internal investigation. Chief Greg Workman says the probe involved undercover informants and that Pena didnít file paperwork in a timely manner. Prior to the investigation, Pena had a clean record from disciplinary problems.
