Fatal Wreck Victim's Mother Files Lawsuit Against Truck Driver
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is still waiting on toxicology reports as charges are pending against the driver of the tractor trailer involved in a fatal Rogersville collision last week. Reports say the driver made an improper turn, causing the wreck that killed 18-year-old Ashley Lawson. In addition to the pending charges, 60-year-old Ion Hazapariu also faces a lawsuit. Lawson’s mother is suing the truck driver and his employer for unspecified damages. Lawson’s two passengers were injured, including her eight-month-old baby.
