Mountain States Health Alliance and Cigna Reach Agreement on Coverage
After a 3 year lapse and 11 months of negotiations, Mountain States Health Alliance announces a network agreement with Cigna for health coverage. It will allow Cigna covered customers access at network price to all of Mountain States facilities and physicians. And the health care provider’s executive vice president Marvin Eichorn says it goes into effect Oct. 1st. He said, “It’s very important to the people that live here that we are in all the major health plans so our only primary motivation in this whole thing is so that people in the community have a way to our doctors.” (LM)
