Saltville Home Invasion Under Investigation
A home invasion and assault investigation continues in Saltville. A man remains in the Johnson City Medical Center in stable condition after being attacked by an acquaintance. Major Chip Shuler with the Smyth County Sheriff’s Office says there is no danger to the public and that the home invasion started over a disagreement. Shuler says the suspects in the crime have been identified and are wanted for questioning and charges are anticipated.
