Former School Janitor in Lebanon Sentenced to 70 years in Prison for Sex Crimes
Former Lebanon Elementary school janitor Bobby Joe Gobble has been sent to prison for 70 years for sexually assaulting four boys. Judge Michael Moore called the 150 crimes that Gobble pled guilty to “horrific” and told Gobble it’s unlikely he’ll ever be paroled. The crimes include the aggravated sexual battery and sodomy of the boys – who are all related to Gobble and were victimized in the school’s janitor closet and boiler room, and at places away from school over several years. One victim’s mother testified she thought Gobble should be put to death for his crimes. (LM)
