Groundbreaking Set for New School in Bristol
Groundbreaking Monday for a construction of a new facility for the Morrison School of Bristol. Over the objections of residents, not opposed to the school, but worried about traffic in their neighborhood, Bristol Virginia City Council rezone 30 acres off North Pinecrest Lane, clearing the way for the construction on about 7 acres. Mayor Catherine Brillhart said the city is assured of no problems with water pressure, the and the cost of new infrastructure needed will be the burden of the developer. (LM)
