Sullivan County School Board To Discuss Smoking Policy Again
Bans on tobacco products on or near Sullivan County school property will be back up for discussion Tuesday night by the School Board. Originally, the board considered a ban on tobacco within close proximity of school property, but determined it did not have authority to govern smoking by the public in certain areas. The board will take a look again at policy changes that do not defy state law, including looking at the use of E-cigarettes. In addition, the board is set to reorganize its leadership. (LM)
