Fake Checks in Circulation
The Bristol Virginia Police Department would like to make local businesses aware that there are several computer generated checks being presented in the form of payroll checks. These checks are on original document paper and are of fair quality. Officials advise the use of due caution when looking for inaccuracies such as misspelled words and incorrect business logos. Any questions concerning these checks can be directed to the Bristol Virginia Criminal Investigations Division at 645-7419.
