Presidential Primary
If predictions hold true for Super Tuesday the Republican presidential candidate will be decided by the time Virginians vote in their primary next week.

By the same token, Democrats will still be in the fray by February 12th and Democratic politics are making a slow resurgence in the state after years of Republican dominance. Turnout is not expected to be as spectacular as in the Super Tuesday states -- especially since Republicans won’t decide until mid-April who they will field against former Governor Mark Warner who is running for the U.S. Senate.
