Virginia Soldier Death Under Investigation
A soldier from Saltville has died in Iraq. According to the Department of Defense, 35-Year-Old Staff Sergeant Chad Barrett died Saturday in an incident that was not related to combat. Barrett was assigned to the 64th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division based in Fort Carson, Colorado. The incident is under investigation.
