Churches Exempt from New TN Law
Tennessee’s indoor smoking ban went into effect in October. Along with the ban, all businesses and public places are to post a sign bearing the international “No Smoking” symbol at all entrances. The state Senate unanimously passed a bill that will exempt churches from the law. The companion bill has been assigned to the House Agriculture Committee.
