Saltville Set To Receive Major Funding For Water Infrastructure Improvements

The Town of Saltville Virginia is receiving more than six million dollars to provide support for a major upgrade to its water and sewer system. Ninth District Congressman Morgan Griffith calls the funds a significant investment for the people of Saltville. The USDA Rural Development fund will support installation of more than sixteen thousand linear feet of water main, water line, and service line improvements. And will also include the construction of a new 100 thousand gallon water storage tank, a new pump station and other improvements to the wastewater treatment plant.
